제목 Synthesis of Poly(Styrene Sulfonic Acid)grafted Fluropolymer Membranes by a Crosslinking with DVB and Their Application to DMFC
초록 In this study, a series of poly(styrene sulfonic acid)-grafted poly(tetrafluoroethylene-co-perfluorovinyl vinyl ether) (PFA) membranes cross-linked with various DVB contents were prepared by a simultaneous radiation grafting method onto different thickness PFA films of25, 50 and 100 m. The physico-chemical properties of prepared the membranes such as ion exchange capacity (IEC), water uptake (WU), proton conductivity (PC), methanol permeability (MP), and chemical stability were evaluated in correlation with the base film thickness and cross-linking agents contents. The results indicate that as DVB content increases the WU, PC, and MP of the prepared membranes decrease while showing no significant effect on the IEC.
