Nowaday, there are many researches focus on finding new energy sources since fossil fuel will be increasingly depleted. Polymer solar cells (PSCs) are one of prospective candidates for alternative energy source. Diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) as an acceptor unit is well-known for a promising material in organic electronic devices because DPP is a strong acceptor with a fused ring type for coplanarity and decreasing -stacking and incorporating fused aromatic ring moieties, the crystallinity of this type of materials can be well controlled by choosing suitable solvents or thermal annealing, leading to desired film morphologies. Herein we synthesize polymers with donor–acceptor (D–A) concept based on alkly-9H-carbazol(CZ) or alkly-9,10-phenanthren(PN) and 2,5-Dioctyl-3,6-di-thiophen-2-yl-2,5-dihydro-pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole-1,4-dione(DPP) by Suzuki coupling copolymerization. In this presentation, we will report the synthesis method, optical and photovoltaic properties of the polymer. |
