제목 Novel Pressure sensitive adhesives to Reduce the light leakage of LCD Polarlizer
초록 We prepared new acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive systems for LCD Polarizer by a variety of acrylic monomers and silane, curing agent. In order to reduce the light leakage of Polarizer, we have to consider the photo-elastic coefficient. To investigate relation with photo-elastic property and the light leakage reducing ability, we prepared Polymers synthesized by polymerization of butyl acrylate, 2-Hydroxy ethyl acrylate, Aromatic monomer, optically isotropic monomer. The PSA was measured at 600nm by a birefringence evaluation system using optical heterodyne interferometry. And the light leakage was evaluated by the light-leakage test of polarizer coated with the pressure-sensitive adhesive after it was aged under the condition of 85°C for 500hrs.
