제목 The effects of graphene on the properties of acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive
초록 The graphene prepared by the thermal reduction of graphite oxide was examined as conductive filler to reduce the surface resistivity of acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA). The graphene, finely dispersed in PSA matrix, reduced effectively the surface resistivity, however it also reduced the peel strength of the protective film using the PSA as an adhesive. This reduction of peel strength was more evident when the composite was prepared by an in situ polymerization method compared to that prepared by a physical mixing method. However, this peel strength reduction could be minimized, when the graphene was not mixed homogeneously with PSA but embedded in the PSA as a separate layer. In addition, the surface resistivity decrease by the loaded graphene was much more effective. When the PSA was coated on conductive fabric, the surface resistivity of the PSA was improved evidently even with 0.1 phr loading of graphene with marginal peel strength decrease.
