제목 Air Stable Polymer Solar Cells Using Solution-Based Titanium Oxide as a Buffer Layer
초록 We reported a device structure by introducing an inorganic buffer layer between the transparent anode electrode and the hole transport layer for a stable solar cell performance. A sol-gel processible titanium oxide (TiOx) layer was spun on the indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode and then poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) layer was fabricated. Since the TiOx layer has the optical window for visible light range, it is suitable for photoelectric devices. Furthermore, TiOx layer reduces permeability of harmful gases in device and protects the devices from UV light. These positive effects can enhance the reliability of device. The operating mechanism of this unconventional device is studied and interpreted that the interface between TiOx and PEDOT:PSS layer acts as the n-p type junction and connects the circuit.
