제목 Kinetics of Fe3O4 with different oxidizing agents for the chemical looping application
초록 The redox reactions of iron oxides by Chemical looping(CL) process to produce hydrogen or CO can be one of the promising processes compared with other hydrocarbon-based processes due to their direst production of high-purity H2 or CO from oxidants. CL process has been recognized as to be an environmentally begin alternative process compared with the conventional reforming reaction of fossil fuels. Redox properties and kinetic parameters of magnetite using oxidizing agents such as H2O, CO2 and O2 were investigated using isothermal method. Simple first-order or Jander equation for describing the redox reactions was forum to be proper reduction and oxidation kinetics of magnetite. The proposed kinetic models are well matched with the experimental data and kinetic model for redox reactions of magnetite.
