제목 Hydrophobically Modified Gelatin Sponge Particles as Embolic Agents and Experimental Studies in a Rabbit Renal Model
초록 An embolic agent in this presentation is chemically modified, biocompatible and mid-term bio-absorbable gelatin-based gel material. The embolic agent is suitable for visualization of embolization in a patient's body by injection of the agent mixing with radio-opaque contrast agent, Lipiodol®. The effect of chemical modification with inert and hydrophobic moieties of the embolic agent was elucidated by FT-IR analysis and Lipiodol® uptake. The effects of renal artery embolization with Lipiodol® and the embolic agent on rabbit kidney tissue were evaluated with animal model.
