제목 Water-soluble chitosan and anhydride- terminated poly(ethylene oxide) and its use for preparation of metal nanoparticles
초록 Generally, Chitosan having a high molecular weight and low solubility in aqueous solvent obtained from the deacetylation of chitin shows a limitation for its applications. To improve its solubility for water was the molecular weight of chitosan was reduced resulting in the increase of water solubility. In addition, chitosan -g- PEO was synthesized by reaction with ω-anhydride PEO and acetic anhydride in aqueous alcoholic solution at 40℃ for 24h. The other method is to improve the water-solubility of chitosan by simple methods. Gold / silver / magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles using Chitosan -g- PEO as a surfactant were successfully prepared by the sol-gel process. In this presentation, we will report the results for degradation of chitosan and successful utilization for preparation of nano-sized metal particles in aqueous media.
