제목 Multifunctional Hybrid Nanomaterials via Cooperative Self-Assembly of Block Copolymers: From Plasmonic Nanostructures, Carbon Nanocomposites to Biosensor Platforms
초록 Block copolymers (BCPs) have already shown their promising functions as versatile tools in recent nanotechnological applications. In this presentation, we further demonstrate that unprecedented types of hybrid nanomaterials can be deduced by combined self-assembly processes. First, we discuss engineered photophysical properties, light emission, and optical sensing capabilities observed from multi-component inorganic moieties that are incorporated into BCP nanodomains in a controlled fashion. Next, surface Plasmon resonance based biosensing was performed on protein nanoarrays or metal nanoparticle arrays defined on BCP nanopatterns in terms of DNA hybridization. We also introduce direct carbonization routes, utilizing stabilized BCP thin films, to fabricate nanostructured, hybrid carbon materials that may have intriguing potentials as catalyst supports, electrode materials, adsorbents and sensors.
