Hybrid solar cells using proper organic and inorganic electron donor/acceptor pairs are considered as a way to approach the new type of solar cells. The formation of bicontinuous carrier path between donor and acceptor pairs is an important factors for the enhancement of performance in heterojunctioned solar cells. In this study is tried the fabrication of interdigited heterojunction using the nanowire, nanorods, and quantum dots of PbS combined with other semiconductor such as titania, fullerene, other metal oxides. For the formation of interdigited structure, one part of well-arrayed nanorods is previously prepared and followed by the impregnation of another part of donor/acceptor pairs by using the method of immersion and spin coating. The prepared photovoltaic cells are analysed in their characteristics in relation to the morphology, structure of bicontinuous path, and volume ratio of donor/acceptor pairs. |
