Nanofibers of conducting polymers are considered as an useful electrode material in various electronic devices because of their processability, low production cost, and durability. The formation of bicontinuous carrier path between donor and acceptor pairs is an important factors for the enhancement of performance in heterojunctioned solar cells. In this study is tried the fabrication of bicontinuous heterojunction using Polyaniline nanofibers as an electron donating materials. PANI nanofibers were synthesized by the conventional interfacial polymerization with various dopants. For the formation of bicontinuous structure, electron donors such as fullerene and various colloids of metal oxide are impregnated into the preformed PANI nanofiber networks by using the method of immersion and spin coating. The prepared photovoltaic cells are analysed in their characteristics in relation to the morphology of PANI, structure of bicontinuous interface, and volume ratio of donor /acceptor pairs. |
