Most previous work on metal oxide nanofibres has focused on electrospinning from a metal precursor solution mixed with various polymers to control the viscosity. However, it is difficult to obtain the pure anatase phase. So, inorganic sol without polymer addition was used to prepare electrospun TiO2 Fiber. Titanium propoxide, propanol and hydrochloric acid were mixed for electrospinning inorganic sol. After electrospinning, the photocatalytic activity (UV light, 23 W) of the prepared electrospun TiO2 fiber was monitored by measuring the decrease in the concentration of dye. |
