제목 Thin Films of Triblock Copolymers Containing Two Types of Inorganic Salts
초록 Block copolymers spontaneously self-assemble into periodic structures in the tens of nanometer length scale, whose size and morphology can be easily controlled by adjusting the molecular weight and composition of copolymers. In addition, self-assembled domains of block copolymers can be served as hosts for the selective incorporation of appropriate chemical reagents such as inorganic salts. In this study, we fabricated thin films of polystyrene-block-poly(2-vinylpyridine)-block-poly(ethylene oxide), PS-P2VP-PEO, triblock copolymers by spin coating under a humid condition. Since chemically differentiated P2VP and PEO blocks have intrinsic selectivity toward different inorganic salts, two types of inorganic salts were sequentially loaded in each domain of P2VP and PEO blocks. Thin films of PS-P2VP-PEO copolymers with and without inorganic salts were mainly investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM).
