Precise nanofabrication of plasmonic structures for controlling the homogeneity of the fluorescence enhancement |

The metallic nanostructures can favorably modify the spectral properties of fluorophores and to alleviate some of these fluorophore photophysical constrains that is termed metal-enhanced fluorescence (MEF). Here we report high resolution and presice metal nanopatterns by capillary force lithography to control the homogeneity of the fluorescence enhancement. We showed exquisite control of a feature size of gold nanoarray that enables very efficient high-resolution nanopatterning with only a few masters. Enhancement of fluorescence intensity was investigated through coupling with proper fluorophores and surface plasmon in metallic nanostructures. |
