제목 Shape Memory Effects in Polyurethanes Containing Superparamagnetic Nanoparticles
초록 A series of shape memory polyurethane (SMPU) were synthesized from poly(tetramethylene glycol)(PTMG) and isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) with the addition of NiZn-ferrite (NiZnFe2O4), chemically modified with oleic acid to improve dispersion which was visually confirmed by TEM. The properties of polyurethane- NiZnFe2O4 nanocomposite were characterized by mechanical, dynamic mechanical, thermal, electrical properties, and cyclic test. It was found that the shape memory effect of polyurethane-nanocomposite could be induced by inductive heating in an alternating magnetic field. The maximum temperature achievable by inductive heating in a specific magnetic field was observed.
