Highly concentrated colloidal suspensions of high-quality nanocarbon (NC) materials are of great interest for a variety of applications ranging from flexible electronics and flexible textile electronics to electrochemical catalysts for energy harvesting or storage devices. However, the fabrication of dispersant-free conducting pastes based on NC materials such as carbon nanotubes and graphene nanoplatelets in organic solvents has been hindered by NC agglomeration. In this presentation, I will introduce our recent innovative method for fabrication of conducting pastes with NC materials without dispersant molecules, and its applications in flexible electrodes and conducting fiber fabrication. |
