제목 Numerical Simulations for PLED using F8BT as Electron Transporting Layer
초록 Electrical characteristics of the single and the double layered OLEDs based on polymeric semiconductive molecules (PLED) are simulated. Various device characteristics, especially recombination rate, are theoretically calculated and compared with the experimental data. For the fabrication of OLEDs, MEH-PPV was used as EML material and F8BT as ETL material, respectively. Floating-off transfer technique was utilized in order to overlay F8BT film onto a MEH-PPV-coated substrate. Numerical simulations have been carried out by using the drift-diffusion transport equation, the field-dependent carrier mobility, the trap distribution, and the Langevin recombination theory. The simulation results show that main factor to affect recombination rate is only internal barrier not the carrier mobility of F8BT.
