In order to obtain TiO2 electrode with high photoelectrocatalytic activity, a novel NF-codoped TiO2 nanotubes electrode was prepared by electrochemical anodization of Ti in C2H2O42H2O + NH4F electrolyte. From the experimental result, the prepared electrode had a highly self-organized structure with high-specific surface area, and N and F were successfully codoped into the lattice of TiO2 leading to the obvious synergetic effect between the electrochemical and photocatalytic processes. This high-synergetic effect was attributed to the advantages of photoelectrocatalytic technique using high-aspect-ratio TiO2 nanotubes and the promoting effect of NF-codoping on the catalytic activity. |
