제목 A Novel TCF-based Molecule for N-type Field Effect Transistor
초록 The development of N-type organic semiconducting materials is largely lagged behind that of P-type counterpart in many aspects such as the device performance, air stability, and material properties. Recently, N-type field-effect transistors with electron mobility >1.0 cm2 V-1 s-1 have been reported. Most of the devices exhibited their semiconducting properties under vacuum and inert atmospheres, which limited their practical applications. In this study, we designed and synthesized a novel tricyanovinyldihydrofuran (TCF)-based molecule for N-type field-effect transistors, which exhibit semiconducting properties under ambient condition owing to an optimized low LUMO energy level. We successfully evaluated their physical and molecular electronic properties. Furthermore, we also fabricated single crystal-based field effect transistors to investigate the intrinsic properties of TCF-based conjugated small molecule.
