제목 TWO DIMENSIONAL PARTICLE ARRAY USING MONODISPERSED POLYSTYRENE LATEX
초록 Abstract
Investigation of template synthetic process undertook using self-assembly properties of monodispersed polystyrene nanoparticles with minimal defects. Study on the colloidal properties of the nanoparticles are based on the particle nucleation and growth mechanism, which gives us ability to control the particle size, particle size distribution, surface charge density, and surface functionality as well. In this work, Brownian movements of adsorbed particles are allowed on the surface. It is assumed also that when the incoming particle falls onto the one already adsorbed it rolls down towards the surface providing there is a free space for such movement. Self-assembly of the nanoparticles were observed with respect to the interaction among condensing nanoparticles under controlled deposition conditions. Defect of the two dimensional array was observed using diffraction behavior and electron microscopy methods.
