Conductive polymer nanostructure has recently attracted a great attention in physics, chemistry, and materials science communities. Nanofibers of conducting polymers are considered as an useful electrode material in electronic devices due to their processability, low production cost, and durability. The photoelectrochemical properties can be tailored through the copolymerization of aniline, pyrrole, and thiophene. Conductive copolymer nanofibers were prepared by surfactant-assisted chemical oxidative polymerization of monomer mixture. The structures of nanofiber are found to be dependent on the art of surfactants, molar ratio and concentration of monomers, and polarity of media, etc. The prepared copolymer nanofibers are analysed in their physicochemical properties such as conductivity, current pathway, band gap, spectroscopic behavior. |
