Phase Transition and Swelling Behavior for the Binary Mixtures of Block copolymer/Homopolymers |

The binary mixture of block copolymer (A-b-B) with homopolymer (A) have been investigated by many researchers, since the phase behavior of binary mixtures exhibit a variety of phase transitions depending on the relative composition and molecular weight of homopolymers. The major interest for this study focuses on the transition behavior and the change of inter-lamellar spacing depending on the molecular weight of homopolymers for the binary mixtures of A-b-B/A, which were investigated by Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) and Depolarized Light Scattering (DLS). We discuss two extreme models to describe the swelling and localization of homopolymer chains. |
