제목 | Synthesis and Characterization of Polyaniline/Layered Silicate Nanocomposites |
초록 | Organic/inorganic nanocomposites have been the subject of considerable interest because of their unique properties such as mechanical and electrical properties. A great deal of research on the conducting polymer/inorganic clay nanocomposites, particularly composed of polyaniline (PANI) and inorganic clay, has been carried out. Intercalative polymerization of conducting polymers such as polyaniline (PANI) results in composites possessing anisotropic electrical conductivity and enhanced lithium ion mobility when they are used as electrode materials for lithium rechargeable batteries. In present study, we investigated structural variation such as the interlayer spacing of hydrochloric acid (HCl) or dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DBSA)-doped PANI/layered silicate nanocomposites. In particular, the deintercalation behavior of the layered silicate modified with n-dodecylamine (C12-NH2) upon the addition of DBSA dopant was evidenced by the XRD analysis. The effect of the structural variation on physical properties such as electrical, mechanical and thermal properties will also be discussed. |
