제목 Synthesis and Thermal Property of Nanocomposite based on Poly(butylene terephthalate) Copolymer
초록 Several nanocomposites using clay have been studied to improve mechanical and thermal properties of various polymers such as nylon 6, polyolefin, polyimide, and so on. We tried to introduce three different copolymers based on poly(butylene terephthalate). One of them has the different diol part, 1,4-cyclohexamethylene dimethanol(CHDM), and others are the copolyetheresters, composed of poly(tetramethyle glycol)(PTMG) and poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG). Clay, Closite® 30B(Southern Clay), was added before the ester-interchange reaction. For the copolyetherester nanocomposites, degradation appeared during heat treatment.
