Cell Performance of Sulfonated Multi-phenylPoly(ether sulfone)s for Proton Exchange Membrane Application |
초록 |
Sulfonated Multi-phenyl poly(ether sulfone)s(SMPPESs) with highly sulfonated units were successfully synthesized for proton exchange membrane. Cell performance of SMPPES(17) close to that of Nafion 211. Figure shows the polarization curves in an H2/air single fuel cell using Nafion 211 as PEM at the cell temperature of 40 to 80°C, 100% relative humidity. At the effective work potential of 0.6 V, SMPPES(17)`current density was little higher than Nafion211 at the cell temperature of 40 to 80°C. |
