Design of mini pilot scale reactor for anionic polymerization and reaction condition monitoring of anionic polymerization in tetrahydrofuran |
초록 |
In anionic polymerization, the polar solvents having a high solvating power such as tetrahydrofuran(THF) not only increase the anionic polymerization rate but also has a good solubility for most of the anionic polymers. But, the use of the THF requires the extreme polymerization condition(below -35℃) because THF reacts readily with organolithium compounds. So it is hard to apply THF solvent to the pilot scale reactor. In this article, we designed the mini-pilot scale reactor system for anionic polymerization and applied THF as polar solvent. Through this system, homopolymer and blockcopolymer were prepared with a well-defined molecular weight and low polydispersity index. |
