제목 | Light-Emitting Properties of a Conjugated Polymer Containing Ethynylene Unit in the Main Chain |
초록 | Polymers with extended π-conjugated system are drawing a great attention due to their potential application as luminescent materials1. Poly(phenylene ethynylene)s (PPEs) have been the material class of many researches to develop applications as molecular wires, electro- and photoluminescent device materials2. In the present work, we studied the electro- and photoluminescent device characteristics of a novel PPE, polymer containing ethynylene unit in the main chain. The ethynylene unit is introduced into the polymer main chain to achieve enhanced luminescence performance and electric conductivity3. Conductivity of the polymers was measured by the conventional four-probe method after doped with iodine4. Light-emitting devices of construction ITO/PEDOT/PPE-CN/Mg:Ag/Ag were fabricated from double-layer films of the polymer and their electrical performances were measured and discussed with respect to the chemical structure of the polymer. 표1.
