제목 On-site Plasmonic Detection for In-situ Monitoring of C1 Gas Conversion
초록 Real-time monitoring of small molecules both in liquid and gas phases is very important in C1 gas conversion. For this purpose, indirect estimation of the concentration of dissolved gas from partial pressure using chromatographic analysis has been widely used to optimize biological gas conversion. However, this method is based on the assumption that a reactor is in an equilibrium state and, therefore, suffers from poor reliability since the reactor is far from the equilibrium. In this talk, I highlight on-site plasmonic detection of small molecules based on surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy by using capillarity-mediated inverse transfer that we have recently proposed. To improve the sensitivity of our detection method, physical or chemical adsorption onto the transferred monolayer is further exploited. In addition, the stability of the transferred monolayer under high shear stress is investigated and the response time of the layer under dynamic concentration change is also examined.
