초록 |
Herein, we propose a new design rule to systematically control the concentration of vacancies and carriers in IV-VI rock-salt materials through introducing V-VI chalcogenide materials, where V, IV, and vacancy are occupied in cationic sites and VI anions are located on anionic sites. We found highly dense dislocations created within grains through the clustering of vacancies, leading to very low lattice thermal conductivity which is similar with the theoretical minimum value of target materials. In addition, power factor was improved by controlling the amount of donors (V cations). As a result, the figure of merit ZT was enhanced due to the improved power factor together with low thermal conductivity in this study. |
