제목 High yield synthesis of polystyrene microspheres by continuous long tubular reactor and their application to antiglare film for high resolution displays
초록 The flat panel displays such as LCDs, OLEDs, and QLEDs are indispensable in our daily life. Every day we are watching or touching the FPDs. Therefore, the function of top surface of FPDs is very important because it should protect daily scratch and hide the rainbow colour appearance by colour pixels (corresponding haze value = 10 – 25). In addition, it is desirable to add anti-glare (AG) or anti-reflection (AR) function to protect eyes from the glaringness caused by external light on the screen of display. Both AG and AR function reduce the light reflection on top screen by light scattering and interference, respectively so that they are very useful to eliminate unnecessary features reflected by external light, thereby facilitate to recognize the original information of display without any eye fatigue. Here, the uniform polystyrene (PS) micro-particles with 3-5 μm in diameter were introduced in the AG film as a light scattering filler for internal haze.
