제목 Simulation and optimization ofpressure swing adsorption process for CO2 separation
초록 A pressure swing adsorption process, which uses zeolite 13X as an adsorbent to recover and sequester carbon dioxide from mixture gas, has been investigated through dynamic simulation and optimization. For the discretization of the spatial domains, the cubic spline collocation method has been adopted and the general mathematical model consisting of a set of partial differential and algebraic equations has been solved usingMatlab program. The purposeof this studyis to improve the purity of each component by finding optimal values of decision variables. As a result, the optimal conditions at cyclic steady state are obtained.
