Preparation and Characterization of nanoporous shape memory membranes |

Nanoporous shape memory membranes were prepared using poly(N-vinyl pyrrolidone) (PVP)-hairy polystyrene (PS) nanoparticles and poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL)-diacrylate. The PVP-hairy PS particles were synthesized by the dispersion polymerization of styrene using PVP macro-RAFT agents. The PS nanoparticles were extracted from PVP-hairy PS nanoparticles/PCL-diacrylate films after UV irradiation. The properties of the resulting membranes were characterized using SEM, DMA, and capillary flow porometer. |
