제목 Hierarchical mesoporous carbons from Miscanthus sacchariflorus through hydrogen-peroxide-assisted microwave activation
초록 To prepare adsorbents with high surface area and adsorption capacity, Miscanthus sacchariflorus was activated using H2O2 and microwaves. The experimental conditions including H2O2 impregnation time, microwave power, and irradiation time were optimized. Adsorption isotherms of methylene blue on the prepared mesoporous carbons were measured at room temperature (25 °C) and fitted with the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models. In addition, the adsorption kinetics was successfully described by a pseudo-second-order model.
