제목 Synthesis and characterization of Heparin-DTX-TCA as an oral anti-cancer agent
초록 Oral delivery of anticancer drug is very convenient due to ease of administration and patient satisfaction. But the entire effective anticancer drugs are available in IV form due to their insolubility nature in aqueous solution. Low Molecular Weight Heparin (LMWH), Taurocholic acid (TCA) and Docetaxel (DTX) were conjugated to develop a multifunctional oral delivery agent. Synergistic effects of LMWH and DTX were suspected to be observed due to having anticancer effect both of those agents. TCA and DTX conjugated LMWH form micelles at aqueous solution due to hydrophobic nature of DTX. Bile acid more specifically TCA enhance absorption of LMWH through bile acid transporter as it located on the surface of the micelles. The designed particles have been shown from 150-250 nm in diameter depending on DTX conjugation ratio. This nonmaterial’s could be termed as an multifunctional oral delivery agent.
