제목 Possibilty of increasing CO2 standing ability in Sulfurvum lithotrophicum 42BKTT
초록 Every year, increased atmospheric CO2 concentration makes global warming severely worsened. Worsened global warming occurs abnormal climate and it makes many problems in the world. Chemolithoautotrophs are kinds of bacteria which use inorganic compound as an energy source and CO2 as a carbon source. As they use CO2, we can use it as a biological CO2 reducing method. Sulfurovum lithotrophicum 42BKTT is one of the chemolithoautotroph. It uses thiosulfate and nitrate as energy source and CO2 as a carbon source in r-TCA cycle. Glutamate is most dominant metabolite in the bacterium and it is known as a compatible solute. Compatible solute is a produced solute when microorganisms feel osmotic stress. In this research, we try to find out how this bacterium stand high concentration of CO2 and tried to find out what kind of correlation between CO2 standing ability and glutamate is.
