| 제목 | Hydration of isobutene in C4 Raffinate to tert-butyl alcohol by using heteropoly acid catalyst |
| 초록 | In order to produce high purity (99%) 1-butene stream, isobutene should be reduced at least under 0.5% in the C4 Raffinate-II stream. Therefore, catalyst for hydration of isobutene to TBA is the key factor in this process. In this study, we applied a heteropoly acid catalyst (H3PW12O40nH2O) for transformation of isobutene to TBA. Heteropoly acid catalysts have been employed as good acid catalysts in several reactions and specially showed fine catalytic activity in hydration of alcohols. |
