Selective Chiral Recognition of Mandelic Acid by L-MA Derivative-Modified QCM Sensor in Aqueous Solution |

This study presents a new approach for the recognition of chiral R/S-mandelic acid (MA) using an L-MA derivative modified QCM sensor. The immobilization of L-MA derivative on the gold surface of the QCM sensors was performed using a three steps assembling procedure. Each step was analyzed by AFM, contact angle and resonance frequency measurements. The chiral discrimination factor between R- and S-MA on the L-MA derivative modified QCM sensor were all over 4.0 in aqueous solution reaction. |
