제목 Preparation of hollow silica fibers via a single capillary electrospinning method
초록 Hollow silica fibers have been widely used for biosensor, catalyst and drug delivery because of their high surface to volume ratios and biocompatibility. Hollow fibers could be prepared by a coaxial electrospinning method. But it has some problems such as difficulties of selecting immiscible two solvent and controlling the viscosity. In this study, we prepared hollow silica fibers via a single capillary electrospinning method. We used tetraethyl orthosilicate as a silica precursor, poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) as an extender, and ethanol as a solvent. Hollow silica fibers are formed by phase separation of PVP and SiO2 during solvent evaporation. The prepared fibers were further functionalized by a molecular imprinting method.
