It is well know that polyamines make complexes with various heavy metal ions. In this work, PVAm, only having primary amino groups linked directly to the main chain, micro hydrogel was used and it was prepared in water contrast to convensitional system in oil for commercial application. Formation condition of Spherical and stable particle of Poly(N-vinylformamide）(PNVF) were investigated by change the various factors using optical microscope (OM); types of initiator, stabilizer, cross-linker and stirring speed, etc. And then, hydrolysis was conducted to incorporate amine moiety. Amine content was mesured via ninhydrin assay and UV-vis spectra (UV). In addition, chelating abillity of PVAm wsa evaluated by potentiometric titration method. |
