제목 | One-Pot Synthesis of a Polymeric Contrast Medium for Ideal Computed Tomography |
초록 | Computed tomography (CT) is widely used for diagnosis and treatment of disease due to its deep penetration capabilities and easy post-image processing techniques. Moreover, contrast agents are used to obtain better contrast effects of CT, but conventional iodinated monomolecular CT agents are difficult to obtain accurate imaging by problems such as low radiation density, solubility in blood, high osmolality, and toxicity. In this study, we synthesized Iodine-sealed carbon particles (ISCP) through one-point synthesis to solve these problems. ISCP is a molecular composite of triiodobenzene and hydrophilic linker, glycerol. ISCP was made with One-pot Synthesis without organic solvent and catalyst showed good hydrophilicity. We demonstrated a good contrast effect of ISCP compared to conventional iodinated CT agents in same concentration Also, ISCP exhibited no cytotoxicity, no acute toxicity, and high biocompatibility through the in vitro test and in vivo test. |
