제목 Preparation of PVDF hollow fiber membrane for gas removal
초록 With rapid global warming and increasing environmental limitation, capture of green- house gas have been actively researched. Among various methods for green-house gas capture, membrane technologies have attracted attention due to low operation cost and small foot-print. Because flat sheet membrane has limited packing density, the membrane is prepared as hollow fiber type, which is proper form factor to maximize packing density and effective membrane area. Besides, porosity of the hollow fiber membrane is a crucial factor to increase gas separation efficiency. At these points, the hollow fiber membrane was prepared by dual nozzle spinneret and non-solvent phase separation (NIPS) method. The dual nozzle spinneret could make hollow fiber shape and NIPS method is a proper approach to generate pore in membrane. The structure of hollow fiber was optimized by controlling spinning condition such as dope solution volumetric flow rate, bore solution volumetric flow rate and take-up speed. Also, the porosity of hollow fiber could be adjusted by changing hydrophilic additives. Consequently, a highly porous hollow fiber was obtained and will apply to membrane contactor system for CO2 capture.
