Synthesis of vanadia-doped titanium-pillared clay for the selective catalytic oxidation of H2S |
초록 |
A series of vanadia-doped titanium-pillared clay were prepared by impregnation method and studied for the selective catalytic oxidation of H2S using different reaction conditions. It was found that doping with metals in the pillared layered clays improved the activity of pillared clay for the adsorption of H2S.Vanadia supported catalysts shows high activity for the selective catalytic oxidation of H2S. The conversion of H2S was found to be over 95 % at temperature ranging from 220-300° C without considerable emission of SO2. |
