On-skin application provides information on sensing external stimuli and simultaneously converting into a human-readable system. Colorimetric sensor-based π-conjugated polymers allows the ability to exhibit the visual information immediately. Polydiacetylenes, a family of conjugated polymers, have attracted great interest in the view of sensors by the colorimetric response and self-emitting fluorescence. In addition, they can present a possibility to read both electrical and optical properties. In this work, we provide potential advantages in terms of simple fabrication and rapidly continuous monitoring by optical and electrical responses. Ordered lamellar polydiacetylene architecture embedded in biocompatible matrix polymers. They showed the reversible color transition during applied voltage or heating. Therefore, these colorimetric materials can apply to the warning signs of human psychologic state to detect skin and/or environment temperature. |
