Electrochemical analysis of metal ions at Gly-Gly-His tripeptide bonded polythiophene modified sensors |

Peptide modified sensors were prepared by carboimide attachment of the Gly-Gly-His tripeptide on to a poly (3-thiopheneacetic acid). X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used to characterize the steps of the sensor-manufacture. The peptide modified polythiophene sensor was used for the electrochemical analysis of various trace metal ions by cyclic and square wave voltammetry. The polythiophene sensors offered an excellent way for the selective trace determination of metal ions in a solution and a high stability and a recyclable affinity |
