제목 Preparation and Characterization of Hydrogel Sensor using Carbon nanotube and Super Absorbent Polymer
초록 The preparation of hydrogel sensor composed of carbon nanotubes(CNTs) and poly(acrylic acid)(PAA) is presented. Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) themselves have remarkable mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties, which enable a number of potential applications. Hydrogels, which are called 'Super Absorbent Polymer(SAP)' are polymeric networks which can absorb a large amount of solvent in the aqueous medium and swell without being dissolved. These polymers are considered as active because they swell or shrink in response to environmental stimuli which include changes in humidity, electric voltage, pH and surrounding fluid. They are applicable to control drug release systems, mechanochemical systems and artificial muscle, sensor, etc. In this study, hydrogel sensor based on CNT/PAA blend was prepared through different content of PAA and humidity-sensitive behavior of these sensors was investigated.
