초록 | Recently, Cu2+ ion-exchanged into SSZ-13 (Cu-SSZ-13, that has a small pore radius ( ~ 3.8 Å) in an 8-membered ring with Chabazite (CHA) structure) has been reported to have 90 – 100% NO conversion in the NH3-SCR reaction over a wide temperature range, and its activity exceeding 80% even after hydrothermal aging. Although the activity, selectivity, and stability of these catalysts have been well demonstrated, the mechanism of NOx reduction with NH3 has not been described in any details yet. In this presentation, I will describe the recent understanding the location and the nature of the active sites, as well as identifying the adsorbed surface species present under reaction conditions. These results suggest us to establish a viable reaction mechanism for the NH3-SCR of NOx on Cu-SSZ-13. |
