제목 3D microwell culture for regulating self-renewal and differentiation of neural stem cells
초록 Neural stem cells may provide effective therapeutics for treating neurodegenerative diseases and traumatic brain injury. Therefore, engineering 3D culture system can directly affects neural stem cell behaviors. Conventional 3D culture platforms have several limitation such as labor intensiveness, non-uniform size contorl and no accessibility of additional fresh growh medium. Microwell, a 3D cell culture system overcome these limitations, easy to control, high throughput, uniform size control and co-culture available in this system. Size-controlled human fetal neural stem cells  cultured on microwell exhibit enhanced self-renewal properties and differentiation abilities. Our study suggestes the 3D culture platform, microwell, may used for various research fields like clinical application and basic neurogenesis.
