Simultaneous delivery of antigen and immune response modifier via dissolving microneedle array for enhanced cancer vaccine |
초록 |
Microneedles (MNs) is a non-invasive way to deliver painlessly the therapeutic contents through the stratum corneum. Among MNs, dissolving MNs can be constructed with different materials that dissolve quickly after its action on the skin. We focused on use of immune activators such antigen and immune response modifier for enhanced immune response in immunotherapy. We developed a pluronic-based microneedle which contains micro micelles loading immune adjuvants and cancer antigen vaccine. As a model therapeutic cancer vaccine, ovalbumin (OVA) and resiquimod (R848) used as antigen and imidazoquinoline-based compounds. |
