제목 Fabrication and Characterization of PU/PVDF core-sheath nanofibers by coaxial electrospinning
초록 Core-sheath nanofibers are promising candidate materials for biomedical and textile applications. A core-sheath nanofiber of polyurethane (PU) / polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) was fabricated using a coaxial electrospinning technique. PU was employed as a core material and PVDF was employed as a sheath one. The contact angle measurement of the non-woven webs, obtained by the coaxial electrospinning, was used to confirm the morphology of the core-sheath fibers. The water contact angle measurement indicates that the core-sheath nanofibers of PU/PVDF can be fabricated at lower flow rate of the core solution. FE-SEM analysis shows the uniformity of the electrospun(e-spun) fibers in the non-woven webs, where the feed rate of the core solution is less than 1.0 ml/h. The analysis of ATR FT-IR and XPS indicates that the sheath material of the PVDF/PU blend e-spun fibers, fabricated with lower than 1.0 ml/h of the core solution, is PVDF. Flow rate of core solution.
