The hydrated liquid crystalline vesicles composed of phospholipid and ceramide were prepared by using different types of solubilizer. The solubilizer has a significant effect on the content of ceramide that can be encapsulated in the vesicles and the stability of the vesicles. In this study, we investigated the change in structural and thermal behaviors of the hydrated liquid crystalline phase according to the mixed composition between phospholipid, ceramide, and solubilizer. Also, physicochemical properties and stability of the vesicle with different composition were observed. |
